Objectives: The intended result of this activity is increased knowledge/competence, and upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
  • Describe currently available treatment tools to assist patients with nicotine dependence in the healthcare settings
  • Describe ways that the electronic health record can facilitate smoking cessation treatment.
