Objectives: The intended result of this activity is increased knowledge/competence, and upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
  • Describe the role of surgery for treatment of GERD
  • List the necessary components of the anti-reflux surgery pre-operative workup
  • Be familiar with new therapies for the treatment of GERD

Target Audience: This course is designed for General and Specialty Surgeons, non-surgical physicians, and medical professionals interested in the following surgical areas: colorectal, endocrine, breast, hernia, minimally invasive, hepatobiliary, surgical oncology, and trauma and critical care surgery.
