Objectives:
The intended result of this activity is increased knowledge/competence, and upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Evaluate the scope of opioid use during pregnancy.
- Delineate addiction as a chronic disease.
- Identify the advantages and disadvantages of MAT (Medication for Addiction Treatment) during pregnancy.
- Clarify how to become a champion for women in recovery through removing stigma and promoting family integrity.
