Objectives: The intended result of this activity is increased knowledge/competence, and upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
  • Describe types of enteral feeding devices, placement techniques, and common complications.
  • Discuss how to reduce an incarcerated inguinal hernia, and explain the impact that reducing an incarcerated inguinal hernia has on repair outcome.
  • Describe the common pathways in the management of an intussusception.
