Objectives: The intended result of this activity is increased knowledge/competence, and upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
  • Recognize proper dosage of exercise prescription for youth and adolescent athletes.
  • Recognize implications for strength progressions in adolescent athletes.
  • Recognize the most common movement faults with conventional lifting.
  • Recognize proper exercise progressions to facilitate correct biomechanics for various forms of resistance training.
