Objectives:
The intended result of this activity is increased knowledge/competence, and upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Recognize the most common GI manifestations of amyloidosis including clinical red flags that should prompt GI diagnostic evaluation.
- Discuss the role of endoscopy with GI tract biopsies in evaluation of amyloidosis.
- Prescribe an initial care plan for symptomatic management of common manifestations of GI tract amyloidosis.
