Description: The Washington University Harassment Prevention and Implicit Bias Training is planned and implemented interprofessionally by physicians and nurses. This activity is designed for physicians, nurses, and may be of interest to physician assistants, pharmacists,and other medical professionals who are required to to have this training as part of their license requirements. These 1-hour online modules will provide education through lectures, case discussions and simulation. The activity will define sexual harassment and implicit bias, outline strategies of action if partied to or a witness to such acts, describe how to report such acts and review protection for those reporting such acts. The goal of this activity is to enhance knowledge, skills/strategy, and performance.
Objectives: Define sexual harassment and implicit bias, as well as its forms and types

Develop strategies of action if sexual harassment, unwanted sexual contact, or implicit bias is witnessed or experienced, and identify strategies to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace

Describe and plan how to report sexual harassment and implicit bias to University authorities.

Review protections available for those reporting sexual harassment or implicit bias.
